“I believe anybody can help change the world,” begins Future Foundation’s new video. “Sometimes all it takes is an opportunity, some support and maybe even a little encouragement.”
In just under three minutes, the video, Prepare To Stand Out, tells an inspiring story about the situations Atlanta youth face on a daily basis—and how Future Foundation meets them where they are and supports them through our various programs.
We promoted the video during February with a contest called Love Is in The Air. The contest invited recipients of our email campaign to “Fall in love with Future Foundation all over again.” For six days, we let our supporters show how well they know Future Foundation by answering questions we posted on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
We introduced the video on Valentine’s Day on our website and asked viewers to “light fires within the hearts of your friends and family by sharing our video.”
The video is narrated by Chris Cantrell, one of our staffers and a former student in our aftershool program. It was developed by Going Interactive, the company that launched our new website last year. By mid-March, the video had received 500 views.
