Future Foundation’s Staff Takes Over Tri-Cities High School
It was a peaceful takeover. In fact, it was encouraged by Tri-Cities High School as a part of an initiative to increase the involvement of parents and the community.
During Parent/Volunteer Takeover Day, 26 members of Future Foundation volunteered to assist Tri-Cities by going into multiple classrooms and addressing subjects such as graduating, overcoming adversity and making changes in life to succeed.
“Through this visit, the staff at Future Foundation were able to lend a helping hand to the youth we serve while strengthening our community/school partnerships,” said Brandon Woodard, program manager. “We were very thankful for the opportunity to bring such a positive influence to so many young people.”
We hope to introduce this type of initiative to all of our partnering schools and continue to be a symbol of hope and pride within our community.
