J. Young Media’s Helping Our Youth Stand Out!

August 7, 2014

We had the opportunity to work with J Young Media, an award winning full service video production company. They utilize skilled videographers, producers, production assistants, editors, motion graphic artists, and other contractors. They use their abilities to collaborate with and promote local nonprofits using video (documentaries, PSA’s, video series, etc.) to create awareness and initiate change from the populations these nonprofits serve.

J Young Media is currently in pre-production on a youth based series based in Atlanta, GA. The story will consist of a group of at-risk youth that are enduring a variety of social, emotional, and academic issues throughout their adolescent lives. Pre-production will consist of a series of casting calls within youth based agencies in Atlanta to identify actors & actresses for the pilot. Future Foundation was lucky to be one of those agencies!

Our casting call took place on Tuesday, July 29th from 1:30-3:30pm. Our students and staff participated.

Future Foundation has some of the most talented kids in the world.  They sparkling personalities and acting abilities really shined through. The casting call was just the beginning of our burgeoning relationship. J Young has also presented interest in creating a PSA for Future Foundation and its programs. This will not only help promote our work, but also engage the youth and families we currently serve and seek to reach in a broader capacity. We’ll keep you posted on the progress! Thanks J Young Media.
