At a Glance: “Designing Our Future” Presentation Day

July 3, 2013

As a part of our enrichment series, some of our college bound ladies have the opportunity to design inspiration boards of their first apartments and would like to share their experience with you. Our young ladies will take part in a 4 day workshop on July 8-11, 2013 where they will learn about interior design and its best practices by experimenting with design styles, products and furnishings in order to create their own story boards of their first apartments.

The instructor, Janet Prioleau, J. Prioleau Interiors, began her interior design business in Kansas. She relocated to Atlanta in order to pursue her goals in a city known for its history, cultural, tradition, and entrepreneurial zeal. Having earned degrees in both Religion and Philosophy and Interior Design, she embarked upon a fulfilling career as an interior designer in the greater Atlanta area. J.Prioleau Interiors is a full service interior design firm that specializes in residential and commercial projects.  Janet believes that interiors should reflect not only the individual’s lifestyle and interests but it should also embrace a holistic approach to the principals and elements of design in order to ensure a timeless interior. She lives in Atlanta Georgia and her favorite pastimes are reading from her library of over 400 books  and living life with no regrets
