STEAM Careers Realized

This summer, our older students participated in an innovative eight-week “Maker Model” program at the Opportunity Hub (OHUB). The program emphasizes the importance of allowing students to create products that solve real-world problems. The new [email protected] Innovation Campus is a joint venture with Herman J. Russell that offers over 4,300 square feet of communal and collaborative co-working. The STEAM Career & Work Readiness Summer Start-Up Program is a comprehensive training and support program for 8th through 12th grade students. Future Foundation welcomes new board members

Maurice Anderson owns The Anderson Business Group, which provides business strategy and executive leadership development and coaching. Gerone Conyers, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Engineering – NXPOINT Solutions. “We [Heart] UPS”

Since 2012, UPS has awarded Future Foundation more than $50,000 to support after-school programming. In early 2015, we requested additional funding to support the Reef House Afterschool Program (RHAP) Digital Learning Lab Project. Digital media is altering the landscape of learning in both higher education and K-12 schools. Access to technology out-of-school is crucial to students’ success in the classroom and ultimately in their careers.
