Teenage Pregnancy Month – Testimonials

May 23, 2013 by Future Foundation

I’m 21 years old and have 3 sons by the same woman. I’m currently trying to find housing so that we can all be together and live as a family. My goal is to be the best dad in the world and love and support them unconditionally.

I am 23 years old and had my first child when I was 17.  I hadn’t graduated from high school and was in and out of jail for various offenses and because of my temper.  I dated the mother for a few months and she got pregnant. I was around when my son was born but ended up going back to jail for a year, which meant I wasn’t in his life for the formative years.  Once I got out, I started seeing the mother again but things just didn’t work out.  Now I have full custody of my son and his mom sees him weekly.  We only have a relationship because of him.  I’m currently working and trying to get in a GED program so that I can do my best to provide for him and make sure he has everything he needs to be the best big brother to my 2 year old daughter.
