Today, United Way of Greater Atlanta announced the winners of its DARE to Forget the Box! prizes. Out of the 80 agencies that applied and 25 finalists, we were one of four collaborative teams addressing critical systemic issues to be selected to receive prizes.
We are proud to say that we are a recipient of a $300,000 grant annually, totaling $900,000 over the next three years that will greatly impact the lives of over a hundred youth and families in South Fulton! Along with 6 other community partners (Siemens Corporation, Willie J. Freeman College Park Regional Health Center, Fulton County Office of Workforce Development, Woodland Middle School, Banneker High School, & Youth Enhancement Services, Inc.), we will collaboratively implement the innovative works of the College Park Enrichment Collaboration (CPEC). We have so much hope and faith that this initiative will transform lives and create pathways to advantage for all involved.
