How will you make it matter? This was the question posed to our Future Foundation’s Real Talk Ambassadors. The Georgia Teen Institute provided teens the space to become leaders in their own community. GTI is a week of fun and teamwork in a college setting. The week was filled with team meetings, new friends, challenging tasks, and activities. The student leaders are already deciding why their topic of choice is so important with their “but whys”. In a team building workshop, our leaders had to complete a task while staying focused. This task taught us that we have to work together to accomplish a task even though it can be hard. General Sessions were always fun with door prizes of … [Read more...] about Future Foundation travels to the Georgia Teen Institute

Your help today will enable us to enter 2014 with a clean slate.
This has been a good year for Future Foundation. Our successful fundraising efforts have enabled the organization to cover all of the costs for our various programs, allowing us to continue providing services to our targeted communities. Now, as we enter the last 90 days of the year, I’m asking you—one of Future Foundation’s valued friends—to help us achieve another goal: cover our administrative costs through the fourth quarter so we can end the year with a balanced budget and enter 2014 with a clean slate. Future Foundation’s vision is to enhance and expand our award-winning education and life-skill training programs to impact the more than 30% of youth ages 10 to 18 growing up in … [Read more...] about Your help today will enable us to enter 2014 with a clean slate.
Project R.E.S.T.O.R.E. helps restore lives

To learn how effective the program can be, just ask Robert Fleming, 22, who started with RESTORE in January 2013. “I joined the RESTORE Project to help get myself to a better place,” he said. “Before joining, I did not have much going. I was unemployed and engaging in activities that were not getting me anywhere. I was seeking something to stimulate … [Read more...] about Project R.E.S.T.O.R.E. helps restore lives
